Nine Forms Of Nav Durga & Significance Of Navratri
Shailaputri
The first among the Navdurga is Shailaputri. The word derived in two parts Shaila+putri. Shaila symbolize stone and Putri symbolize daughter (Beti). When the mind changes, chanting the name of Shailaputri inspired the brain to be stir or committed. The Devi gives us power, courage and patience.
Brahmacharini
The second Devi is Brahmacharini which means purity and purity gives us a lot of strength. Brahma symbolise infinity or Charya means changeability. So Brahmacharini means moving beyond the infinity. It means knowing your immense nature. You are not simply the body; you resemble a sparkle of light.
Chandraghanta
